Uniformity without glare at player eye height; spill control for nearby homes.
Fixture selection:Medium or wide beam LED sports lights with glare-control shields may be used depending on court dimensions, pole height and target lux level. Final fixture quantity should be verified by photometric calculation.

Long‑throw optics for straightaways and field events (jumps/throws).
High mast layouts at corners to minimize shadows.

LED Sports Lighting FAQ
How many LED sports lights do I need?
The required fixture quantity depends on venue dimensions, pole height, target lux level, beam angle, fixture wattage and uniformity requirements. Final fixture quantity should be confirmed through photometric calculation rather than estimated by wattage alone.
Does REITA provide sports lighting design support?
Yes. REITA can support fixture selection, beam angle recommendation, IES files, photometric calculations and aiming guidance for football fields, tennis courts, baseball fields, athletic facilities and other sports venues.
Can LED sports lights replace metal halide or HID fixtures?
Yes, but replacement should not be based on a fixed one-for-one wattage ratio. Existing fixture quantity, pole height, mounting position, voltage, beam distribution and target illumination should all be evaluated before selecting the LED replacement.
Are 347V and 480V sports lights available?
Yes. Selected REITA sports lighting configurations can support high-voltage systems including 347V, 380V, 400V and 480V, depending on the fixture and driver configuration.
Can sports lighting use DALI or DMX control?
Yes. Depending on the project configuration, REITA sports lighting systems can support 0–10V, DALI and DMX control. RGB and RGBW options are also available for venues requiring dynamic event lighting.
How do you control glare and spill light?
Glare and spill light can be reduced through appropriate beam selection, aiming angles, fixture positioning, visors, shields and site-specific photometric design.
Can REITA provide IES files for sports lighting calculations?
Yes. IES photometric files are available for selected REITA sports lighting products and can be used for professional lighting simulation and project evaluation.
What warranty is available?
REITA provides a standard 5-year warranty on applicable sports lighting configurations, subject to the selected product and project specification.
