Marine, Fishing & Aquaculture LED Lighting Solutions
Commercial Marine Flood Lights for Fishing Boats, Shipyards and Coastal Sites
REITA supplies marine grade LED flood lights for commercial fishing boats, vessel decks, marine masts, shipyards, dry docks, piers, wharfs and coastal industrial environments.
Before selecting a marine floodlight, buyers should define whether the fixture will face salt air, sea spray, washdown, temporary flooding or immersion. Review the saltwater-proof LED flood light specification checklist before comparing IP ratings, materials and supplier quotations.
Unlike general outdoor flood lighting, marine projects must consider saltwater exposure, rain, sea spray, vibration, mounting position, cable entry, corrosion-resistant hardware, color temperature and beam distribution. REITA Marine LED Flood Light Series is selected according to the actual vessel or site conditions rather than wattage alone.

Fishing and Aquaculture LED Lighting Products
For docks, piers, marinas and waterfront fishing areas where the fixture
remains above the water surface, review the
Above-Water Green Fishing LED Flood Light Series
.
For commercial fishing, deep-sea fishing and fish-attraction applications
where the fixture operates below the water surface, review the
400W–3000W Underwater LED Fishing Light Series
.
For RAS systems, hatcheries and controlled fish-farming projects that
require a blue-dominant custom spectrum with green/cyan contribution and
DALI dimming, review the
Custom Blue-Green Aquaculture LED Floodlight for RAS Systems
.
For aquaculture projects requiring a dedicated green spectrum around
520–525nm, multiple beam angles and optional DALI or 0–10V control, review the
Green Spectrum LED Fish Farming Light Series
.
These product families serve different applications. Above-water and
underwater fishing lights are used for fishing and fish-attraction
applications, while aquaculture lights are designed for controlled
fish-farming, RAS, hatchery and research environments.
Choose Marine Flood Lights by Application
| Application | Typical Lighting Requirement | Selection Direction |
|---|---|---|
| Fishing Boat Deck Lighting | Wide and usable illumination for nets, ropes, winches, sorting and general night work | Medium or wide beam with careful glare control |
| Marine Mast Lighting | Longer-distance projection from an elevated mounting position | Narrow or medium beam selected according to mast height |
| Trawlers and Working Vessels | Lighting for equipment zones, deck operations, loading and unloading | Multiple fixtures and beam distributions may be required |
| Shipyards and Repair Yards | Large-area lighting for inspection, fabrication and maintenance | Higher-output fixtures with medium or wide beams |
| Dry Docks | Hull inspection, coating, mechanical repair and access-route lighting | Project-based lighting layout and fixture positioning |
| Piers and Wharfs | Loading areas, service zones, access routes and coastal work sites | Corrosion-resistant installation and suitable optical coverage |
2700K or 5000K Marine Flood Lights?
REITA marine LED flood lights can be configured with different color temperatures according to the working environment and customer preference.
2700K Warm White
2700K is often selected for commercial fishing boats replacing traditional high-pressure sodium lighting. It provides a warmer appearance and may feel less harsh during long night operations on wet decks and reflective metal surfaces.
- Commercial fishing boat deck lighting
- Marine mast light replacement
- HPS replacement projects
- Wet and reflective working areas
- Long-hour nighttime vessel operations
5000K Cool White
5000K produces a clearer and more neutral-white appearance. It is commonly considered for shipyards, dry docks, inspection areas, repair facilities and coastal industrial sites where visual contrast is important.
- Shipyards and marine repair yards
- Dry dock inspection areas
- Maintenance and fabrication zones
- Piers, wharfs and loading areas
- General coastal industrial lighting
The correct color temperature depends on the vessel, existing lighting, crew preference and working task. Read more about 2700K commercial marine flood lights for fishing boats.
Available Beam Angles
| Beam Angle | Typical Marine Application |
|---|---|
| 10°–25° | High mast positions and longer-distance focused projection |
| 40°–60° | General deck lighting, medium mounting heights and shipyard work areas |
| 90°–120° | Lower mounting positions and broad local-area coverage |
A narrow beam is not automatically better for a mast installation, and a wide beam is not automatically better for deck lighting. Mounting height, aiming direction, fixture spacing and target dimensions must be considered together.
Marine-Grade Installation Considerations
A marine lighting system includes more than the LED fixture housing. The reliability of the complete installation also depends on the cable gland, connector, junction box, cable routing, mounting bracket, fasteners and electrical protection.
OEM & Project Supply for Fishing and Aquaculture LED Lighting
REITA supplies specialized fishing and aquaculture LED lighting to fishing light brands, marine equipment distributors, aquaculture equipment manufacturers, RAS system suppliers, fish farm engineering companies and OEM lighting customers.
Depending on the application, we can support above-water green fishing lights, high-power underwater fishing lights, custom blue-green aquaculture LED floodlights and green-spectrum fish farming lights. OEM and project support can include custom wavelength, wattage, beam angle, voltage, dimming method, cable, mounting bracket, housing configuration, private-label branding and sample development.
For aquaculture projects, please provide the fish species, tank dimensions, mounting position, target spectrum or SPD, dimming requirements, freshwater or saltwater environment and expected quantity. For fishing light projects, provide the installation method, above-water or underwater application, required power, color, voltage, cable length and water coverage.
Before selecting a product, confirm:
- Distance from direct sea spray or wave exposure
- Required IP rating
- Fixture mounting height and orientation
- Vessel vibration and mechanical movement
- Required cable length and cable-entry method
- Connector and junction-box protection
- Mounting bracket and fastener material
- Input voltage and available electrical supply
- Required corrosion or salt-spray documentation
- Cleaning and maintenance access
The standard published configuration of the REITA modular marine flood light platform is IP66. Requirements for IP67 or IP68 must be confirmed according to the selected fixture, cable-entry system, connector and complete installation configuration.
For a detailed explanation, read our guide to IP66, IP67 and IP68 marine LED flood lights.
Typical Commercial Marine Applications
- Commercial fishing boats
- Lobster, crab and scallop fishing vessels
- Trawlers and draggers
- Fishing boat deck lighting
- Marine mast flood lighting
- Winch and net-handling areas
- Shipbuilding and ship repair yards
- Dry dock maintenance

Choose by Application: Marine Work Lighting, Above-Water Fishing, Underwater Fishing and Aquaculture Lighting
REITA Marine, Fishing & Aquaculture LED Lighting Solutions cover four
distinct application groups: marine work lighting for vessels and coastal
sites, above-water fishing lights for docks and piers, underwater fishing
lights for submerged fish-attraction applications, and custom-spectrum
aquaculture LED lighting for fish farms, RAS systems and hatcheries.
Although these products may share a similar waterproof floodlight platform, the optical spectrum, wavelength, dimming method, installation position and target customer are different. Buyers should select the product according to the actual application instead of housing appearance alone.
