How to Choose Industrial LED Lighting

Mounting height Ceiling height, pole height, crane clearance and maintenance access. Affects wattage, beam angle, glare control and fixture quantity.
Ambient temperature Measure the temperature near the fixture position. Standard fixtures may not survive in high-temperature zones.
Dust, moisture and corrosion Check IP rating, sealing, coating, cable entry and bracket material. Important for shipyards, ports, factories, washdown areas and outdoor yards.

High Temperature LED Lighting for Hot Industrial Areas

For steel mills, foundries, glass plants, cement factories, boiler rooms, kilns and furnace areas, standard LED fixtures may fail early because of driver overheating, optical material aging, gasket damage or thermal stress. In these areas, buyers should confirm the real ambient temperature near the fixture, not only the general room temperature.
